Happy New Year!

So, I am pretty sure that I am the worst blogger in all blogger history.  I think I am the one post a year wonder.  But, hey, once a year is better than not at all, right?  Okay, maybe not.
The top three pictures are our family pictures for 2012.  My friend, Mindy, took the pictures for us.  She is a former teacher friend of mine--turned SAHM and does photography on the side.  The picture of the boys coloring....they made their own library bags to tote their books to and from the library.  They love going to run up and down the isles and scream to pick out new books.  The middle picture of the boys is of Reece's first day of pre-school.  This was after I picked him up.  Ryker was not a happy camper because he wanted his own school bag and to have all the attention on him.  I posted a few pictures of last summer's meno-paws party in Denver.  That was so much fun!  The last picture is just funny...so laugh!  HA!

I am still doing the SAHM thing.  I am lucky if I get to shower most days.  My days consist of breaking up fights, cleaning crayons off the walls, playing hot wheels and transformers, and loving my wild boys.  I have already gotten up 6 or 7 times just while trying to post this.  I will miss these days (so they all say).  Reece started pre-school this past fall and goes three days a week during the mornings.  He absolutely loves school and seeing all his little friends each day.  He is really into Transformers (circa 1987) and has more Hot Wheels cars than he or I can count.  Ryker is definitely a two year old.  Somehow he learned to toot on people and spit in their faces.  He is Reece's best and worst buddy.  He has a real art for coloring on the walls.  He loves playing Play-doh, Hot Wheels cars, and doing sticker books.  Both of my kids sleep an average of 7-8 hours a night and get up at least 2-3 times per night, each, so that is why there are still only two little Dondlingers.  But, don't get me wrong, I love being a mom and wouldn't trade it for the world....well, maybe I might trade for some sleep.
Raymond is still working as hard as ever.  He has been traveling quite a bit as the construction world has branched out to Texas, Oklahoma, and Colorado.  I don't think he minds going to Colorado though.
We are a happy little bunch!

A little behind.....just a little.

So, I think it's been a while since I have posted (insert laughing here). Here's our life in a quick nut shell:

Vanessa--still doing the SAHM thing. I enjoy it most days, but miss teaching....and adult conversations. I really have nothing cool to say or share. I cook, clean, change diapers, play with kids, and survive. I enjoy my MOPS group and the boys go to a kids day out once a week for 3.5 hours.....that way I can grocery shop, clean house, and eat my food without interruption. It's glorious!

Raymond--still working at Dondlinger with the addition of three Ace hardware stores. He works hard. Really hard. He loves being a dad and taking us for car rides and donuts and the occasional hockey game.

Reece--BIG 3 Year old! He is in the "I WANNA DO IT MYSELF" stage. That include getting dressed and wanting to get his own food and snacks. However, he still refuses to use the toilet. He is okay with my changing his pants. SERIOUSLY?? Any potty training tips would be helpful. (we've done stickers, candy, big prizes, potty videos and books, singing and dancing, real under ware....and nothing works) He LOVES anything cars and motorcycles. He also loves watching Curious George and Caillou. He is into any and everything and time-outs and no's don't phase him. He is full of energy and never stops. He is the cuddle bug and loves being snuggled.

Ryker--will be 2 in May! He is only two pounds behind Reece and is the human garbage disposal. He loves his brother Reece! Reece is the first person Ryker yells for in the mornings. Ryker is our "monkey see, monkey do" kid. He imitates everyone and is getting really good at being sneaky. He climbs on everything and I often wonder how he gets up on the things that he does. Ryker loves to giggle and read books. The joke is that he will be potty trained before Reece, because the kid loves to sit on the toilet. He is more interested in stuffing it full of paper and flushing it, but hey, it's a start. Ryker loves Sesame Street and Elmo. He is my laid back-go with the flow kid.
